Lily and Max tiptoed into the kitchen. They found some eggs, bread, and jam. «I’ll make the toast!» said Max. «And I’ll make the eggs!» said Lily. They worked together, carefully making breakfast.
When everything was ready, they set the table with a beautiful flower they picked from the garden. «This looks perfect!» said Lily. «Now, let’s go and wake up mom!»
They gently knocked on the door of their mom’s room. «Mom! Mom!» they said in a soft voice. «We have a surprise for you!» Their mom smiled and slowly opened her eyes. «A surprise? What is it?»
Lily and Max led their mom to the kitchen. «Ta-da!» they said, showing the breakfast. «We made breakfast for you, mom!» Their mom was so happy. «This is the best surprise ever!» she said. «Thank you, my sweet children!»
They all sat down together to eat the breakfast. «I love you, mom!» said Max. «I love you too!» said Lily. «This is the best morning ever!» said their mom.

The First Day of School (Первый день в школе)
It was a sunny morning, and Anna was very excited. Today was her first day at school! She woke up early and quickly got dressed in her new school uniform. «I’m so nervous and excited at the same time!» she said.
Her mom smiled and helped her pack her school bag. «You’ll have a great day, Anna. You’ll make lots of new friends!» she said.
When they arrived at school, Anna saw a big sign that said «Welcome to your first day of school!» «Wow!» she said. «This looks like a great school!»
Anna met her new teacher, Mrs. Brown. «Hello, Anna! Welcome to our class!» Mrs. Brown said. «I’m so glad you’re here!» Anna smiled shyly and said, «Hello, Mrs. Brown!»
The children went into the classroom and sat at their desks. Anna sat next to a girl named Emily. «Hi, I’m Emily. What’s your name?» Emily asked. «I’m Anna. It’s my first day at school!» Anna said. «Mine too!» said Emily. «Let’s be friends!»
The teacher started the lesson. «Today we’re going to learn how to write our names,» Mrs. Brown said. Anna picked up her pencil and began to write her name. «I can do this!» she thought, feeling proud of herself.
During recess, Anna played outside with Emily and some other new friends. «This is so much fun!» Anna said, laughing as they played tag.
At the end of the day, Anna’s mom came to pick her up. «How was your first day?» she asked.
«It was amazing, Mom!» Anna said, smiling. «I made new friends, and I learned so many new things. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!»

My New Friend (Мой новый друг)
It was Anna’s first week at her new school. She was a little nervous, but she was excited too. «I hope I can make some new friends today,» she thought as she walked into the classroom.
When she entered, she saw a girl sitting alone at a desk. «Hi, my name is Anna,» she said, walking up to the girl. «What’s your name?»
«Hi, I’m Sarah,» the girl replied, smiling. «It’s nice to meet you!»
Anna sat down next to Sarah, and they started talking. «I like drawing,» said Anna. «Do you like to draw?»
«I do!» Sarah said. «I love to draw pictures of animals.»
They talked about their favorite things – their favorite books, games, and animals. «My favorite animal is a dog,» said Anna.
«Mine too!» Sarah said excitedly. «I have a dog named Max. He’s really cute!»
At recess, Anna and Sarah played together. They ran around, laughing and playing tag. «You’re fast!» said Anna.
«Thanks! You’re fast too!» Sarah replied. «Let’s play again tomorrow!»
The next day, Anna and Sarah met again. «I’m glad we’re friends,» Anna said. «Me too!» Sarah said, smiling. «It’s fun to have a friend like you!»
By the end of the week, Anna felt happy. She had made a new friend, and they spent every day together. «I’m so glad I met you, Sarah,» Anna said. «I’m happy too, Anna,» said Sarah. «You’re a great friend!»

The Magic Garden (Волшебный сад)
One sunny afternoon, Lily and her brother Tom were playing in their backyard when they noticed something strange. In the corner of the garden, there was a small door hidden behind the ivy. «What’s this?» asked Lily, looking at the little door.
«Let’s open it and see!» said Tom, feeling curious. He carefully pulled the ivy away and gently opened the door. To their surprise, the door opened into a beautiful garden full of colorful flowers, sparkling trees, and magical creatures.
«Wow!» said Lily, her eyes wide with amazement. «This is a magic garden!»
As they walked into the garden, they saw a tiny fairy flying by. «Hello!» the fairy said, smiling. «I’m Daisy, the garden fairy. Welcome to the Magic Garden!»
Lily and Tom were both very excited. «What can we do here?» asked Tom.
«You can make wishes!» said Daisy. «If you find the golden flower, your wish will come true.»
Lily and Tom started looking for the golden flower. They walked past tall sunflowers, crossed a sparkling stream, and climbed a little hill. Finally, they found the golden flower glowing in the sunlight.
«I made a wish!» said Lily, closing her eyes. «I wish for a big, beautiful butterfly!»
Tom also made a wish. «I wish for a flying dragon!» he said, smiling.
Suddenly, the ground shook a little, and a giant butterfly appeared in front of Lily. It had bright, colorful wings that sparkled in the sun. At the same time, a small flying dragon flew around Tom. It was green and had tiny wings.
«This is amazing!» said Tom, laughing. «Our wishes really came true!»
After spending some time playing with the butterfly and the dragon, they thanked Daisy for showing them the magic garden. «Thank you, Daisy!» said Lily. «We had the best adventure ever!»
«Goodbye, and remember, the Magic Garden is always here when you need it,» said the fairy, waving goodbye as Lily and Tom walked back to the little door.
As they left the garden and closed the door behind them, they couldn’t wait to come back. «I’ll never forget the magic garden!» said Lily. «Me neither!» said Tom, smiling.

A Trip to the Farm (Поездка на ферму)
One sunny Saturday, Anna and her brother Max went on a trip to the farm. «I’m so excited!» said Anna, looking out of the car window. «I’ve never been to a farm before!»
Their mom smiled and said, «You’ll see many animals and learn how they live.»
When they arrived at the farm, a friendly farmer named Mr. Green greeted them. «Hello, Anna and Max! Welcome to the farm!» he said, shaking their hands. «I’ll show you around.»

After that, they went to the pigpen. «These are the pigs,» said Mr. Green. «They love to roll in the mud.» Anna and Max watched as the pigs happily played in the mud, making funny sounds. «They’re so cute!» said Anna.
Finally, it was time to see the horses. «This is Sugar,» said Mr. Green, pointing to a big brown horse. «Sugar is very friendly. Would you like to ride her?»
Anna and Max were thrilled. «Yes, please!» they both said. Mr. Green helped them get on Sugar, and they enjoyed a short ride around the farm. «This is so much fun!» said Max, laughing.
At the end of the day, Anna and Max said goodbye to Mr. Green. «Thank you for showing us around the farm!» Anna said. «We had the best day ever!»
«Goodbye, and come back anytime!» Mr. Green said, waving as they left. «The farm is always here for you!»

One sunny afternoon, Emma and her little brother Jake were playing outside in their backyard. Suddenly, they heard a soft bark. «What’s that sound?» Jake asked, looking around.

They played catch with a ball for a long time. The dog was very fast and could catch the ball in the air. «You’re a great dog!» Jake said, laughing.
After some time, Emma noticed that the dog didn’t have a collar. «Where is your owner?» she asked. «I hope you’re not lost.»
Just then, a man walked into the yard. «Oh, there you are!» he said to the dog. «I’m sorry. I must have left the gate open. This is my dog, Max.»
Emma and Jake were happy to meet Max’s owner. «Max is so friendly,» said Emma. «He’s the nicest dog I’ve ever met!»
«Thank you,» the man said. «Max loves to make new friends.»
Before leaving, the man said, «Goodbye, Emma and Jake. Max will be happy to play with you anytime!»
Emma and Jake waved goodbye to their new dog friend. «Max is the best dog ever!» Jake said, smiling.
