We spend a lot of time together at school. Sometimes we sit next to each other in class and help each other with lessons. If one of us doesn’t understand something, the other explains it. We also like to eat lunch together and talk about our favorite music, TV shows, and hobbies. It’s fun because we always have something to laugh about.

After school, we often meet at the park or at one of our houses. Sometimes we do homework together, but other times we just play games or watch videos. Last weekend, we went to the cinema to watch a new movie. Even though the line was long, we enjoyed it a lot.

Emma is always there for me when I feel sad or worried. I can tell her anything without being afraid of being judged. She gives me good advice and makes me feel better. I think it’s important to have a friend like that because life is easier when you have someone who supports you.

Making New Friends

Making new friends can be exciting, but it can also feel a little scary. I usually feel nervous at first because I don’t know what to say. But I’ve learned that it’s easier if you start with a smile and say hello. Most people respond kindly, and that’s how a conversation begins.

I often meet new friends at school, during sports, or at clubs. Sometimes we start talking about hobbies, music, or favorite TV shows. I try to listen carefully and ask questions because it shows that I am interested. Even though some conversations are short, they can still be the beginning of a good friendship.

When I make a new friend, I like to spend time together and do simple activities. We might play a game, walk in the park, or share snacks. I also try to be kind and helpful because being a good friend is important. Sometimes we have misunderstandings, but I always try to explain myself and listen to the other person.

Making new friends also means being patient. Some people take time to open up. Even though it can be frustrating, I try to be friendly and supportive. It feels good when a new friendship grows slowly and naturally.

I think making new friends is one of the best things in life. Friends make life more fun, help you when you need advice, and give you someone to share your experiences with. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about them, and discovering things we have in common.

A Funny Story with Friends

One of the funniest moments I remember with my friends happened last spring at school. It was a normal day, and we had a free period after math. My friends and I decided to sit in the schoolyard because the weather was warm and sunny. We were talking and laughing about different things, like teachers, homework, and some strange videos we had seen online. Everything felt very relaxed and easy.

Then something unexpected happened. One of my friends, Liam, suddenly had an idea. He said, «Let’s play a quick game of tag before the next lesson starts.» At first, it sounded harmless, so we all agreed. We started running around the yard, trying to catch each other. It was fun at the beginning, but then things got a bit chaotic.

I was running away from Mia, and I didn’t notice that I was getting closer to the school entrance. I turned too quickly, slipped a little, and almost fell into a big flower bed. Luckily, I caught myself just in time, but my shoe got completely covered in mud. When my friends saw it, they couldn’t stop laughing. Even I started laughing because I looked so ridiculous trying to clean it with a small tissue.

The funniest part was when we went back to class. I tried to walk normally, but I left small muddy footprints in the hallway. A teacher noticed it and asked, «Who was running outside?» We all tried to look serious, but it was impossible. My friend Liam pointed at me and said, «It was him!» and everyone burst out laughing again.

Even though I felt a little embarrassed, I couldn’t be angry. It was one of those moments that becomes funnier every time you remember it. After school, we talked about it again, and even now we still laugh when someone mentions «the muddy shoes incident.»

I think moments like this are special because they don’t happen every day. They make friendships stronger and give you memories you can share for a long time. Even small accidents can turn into the best stories when you are with the right people.

Group Projects

Group projects at school are something I have mixed feelings about. Sometimes they are fun and easy, but sometimes they can be a bit stressful because everyone has different ideas and ways of working. Still, I know they are important because they teach us how to work with other people.

Last month, we had a group project in science class. The teacher divided us into groups of four and gave us the topic «Renewable Energy.» At first, we all just looked at each other and didn’t know where to start. Then one of my teammates, Sara, suggested making a poster, and everyone agreed. It seemed like a good idea because it was simple and creative.
