At the Supermarket (В супермаркете)
История
It was a sunny Saturday morning when Anna and her mother decided to go to the supermarket. They had made a list of everything they needed: fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, and some snacks. Anna was always excited about going shopping because she liked to choose the best products and sometimes discover new things.
First, they walked to the fruit and vegetable section. There were rows of fresh apples, pears, and oranges, all shining under the bright lights. Anna picked a few apples and a bunch of bananas. Her mother chose some ripe tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes. Anna liked to ask her mother which vegetables were the freshest and how to pick the best ones. “These carrots look perfect,” her mother said, holding up a bunch with bright green tops. Anna smiled, remembering how her mother always knew what to choose.
Next, they went to the dairy aisle. Anna grabbed a bottle of milk and a pack of yogurt, while her mother picked some cheese and butter. They stopped by the freezer section to get some frozen vegetables and a box of ice cream. “Do you want chocolate or vanilla?” her mother asked. Anna quickly chose chocolate, knowing it was her favorite.
As they continued down the aisles, they passed the bakery. The smell of fresh bread made Anna’s mouth water. She picked up a loaf of whole-grain bread, and her mother added some croissants for breakfast. “I think we’re almost done!” said Anna, checking the shopping list. But then her mother remembered they still needed snacks.
They went to the snacks aisle, and Anna couldn’t resist the bright packaging of her favorite chips and cookies. After choosing a few packs, they headed to the checkout. The cashier scanned their items quickly while Anna helped pack the bags. They paid, and with a cart full of groceries, Anna and her mother walked out of the store.
On the way home, Anna looked at the shopping list again. “We got everything we needed,” she said, feeling proud. Her mother smiled and said, “It was a great shopping trip.”

My Daily Routine (Мой распорядок дня)

Every day, I wake up at 7:00 AM. I turn off my alarm clock and get out of bed. The first thing I do is make my bed. My mom always tells me that making my bed is a good way to start the day. After that, I go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I feel refreshed and ready to start the day!
Then, I head to the kitchen to have breakfast. I usually eat something quick, like cereal with milk or toast with butter and jam. My mom makes coffee, and we sit together at the table, talking about the plans for the day. We try to eat breakfast calmly, even though we’re both busy.
At 8:00 AM, I leave for school. I walk to the bus stop and take the bus. It’s about a 20-minute ride to school, so I usually listen to music or chat with my friends on the phone while I’m on the bus. When I get to school, I meet my friends, and we go to our classrooms together.
My school day starts at 9:00 AM. We have six classes every day, and each class is 45 minutes long. I enjoy some subjects more than others. My favorite subjects are English and history. I find them interesting and fun. But I don’t like math very much. It’s difficult for me, but I try my best. During break time, I chat with my friends and eat a snack. We often talk about what we did the day before or what plans we have for the weekend.
After school, I take the bus home. I get home around 3:30 PM. The first thing I do is have a snack, like fruit or crackers. Then, I usually do my homework. Sometimes I have a lot of homework, and other times it’s just a little. I try to finish my homework quickly so I have time for fun.
In the evening, I like to relax and do something I enjoy. Sometimes I watch my favorite TV show, or I listen to music. I also like to read books, especially novels or fantasy stories. I try to avoid doing anything that makes me too tired before bed, so I don’t stay up late.
At 10:00 PM, I go to bed. I always make sure my phone is turned off, so I can sleep well. I like to sleep at least 8 hours every night because it helps me feel good the next day. Before I sleep, I think about what I want to do the next day, and then I fall asleep.

My School Day (Мой школьный день)

I wake up at 6:30 AM every weekday. I quickly get out of bed and stretch. After that, I go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I always feel sleepy in the morning, but I know I need to get ready for school. I dress in my school uniform, which is a white shirt and blue trousers. My mom usually makes breakfast for me. I often eat cereal with milk or scrambled eggs with toast. After breakfast, I grab my backpack, check if I have everything – my notebook, pen, and school books – and then I head to school.
School starts at 8:00 AM, and I usually walk to the bus stop with my brother. The bus ride to school takes about 15 minutes. I listen to music or chat with my friends on the bus. We always talk about what happened the day before or what homework we need to finish.
My first class starts at 9:00 AM. We have a total of seven lessons each day. The classes are different every day. Some days I have math first, other days it's English or history. My favorite subject is English because I enjoy learning new words and reading stories. I also like history because I find it interesting to learn about past events. I don’t like math very much, though. It’s hard for me, especially when we do algebra or geometry.
We have a break at 11:00 AM, and I usually meet my friends outside. We eat a snack, talk, and sometimes play a quick game of football or just walk around the schoolyard. After the break, we have two more lessons before lunch.
Lunch is at 1:00 PM. My school has a cafeteria where we can buy food, but I usually bring my lunch from home. Today, I have a sandwich with cheese and ham, some fruit, and a bottle of water. I sit with my friends, and we talk about the things we like – our favorite books, TV shows, and weekend plans.
In the afternoon, we have two more lessons, and then school ends at 3:00 PM. After school, I take the bus home. When I get home, I put my backpack down and take a short break. I often listen to music or watch a little bit of TV before I start my homework. I usually have 2—3 hours of homework to do, depending on the subjects. Some days I have more, and some days I have less.
In the evening, after I finish my homework, I like to relax. Sometimes I read a book, and other times I play video games. I usually have dinner with my family around 7:00 PM. We talk about our day and what happened at school or work. After dinner, I take a shower and prepare my things for the next day. I try to go to bed by 10:00 PM so I can get enough sleep and be ready for school the next day.

My Favorite Hobby (Мое любимое хобби)
История
Everyone has a hobby. Some people like to play sports, others enjoy reading books or drawing. My favorite hobby is playing the guitar. I have been playing it for about three years, and I can’t imagine my life without it. I play the guitar almost every day, and it makes me feel happy and relaxed.
I first started playing the guitar when I was 12 years old. I was inspired by my older brother, who plays the guitar really well. He taught me the basics, like how to hold the guitar and how to strum the strings. At first, I wasn’t very good, and my fingers hurt a lot from pressing the strings. But I didn’t give up. I practiced every day, and after a few months, I started playing simple songs.
Now, I can play many different songs, from soft melodies to faster, more energetic pieces. My favorite kind of music is rock, and I love playing songs with powerful rhythms and strong melodies. I also enjoy learning new songs and trying to play them by ear. Sometimes, I search for tutorials to learn new techniques or ways to improve my playing.
