Venus is your love planet. And, as has been mentioned, she is a very fast-moving planet. There are many short-term love trends that depend on where Venus is and the aspects she receives, and these are best dealt with in the monthly reports.

So far we have been discussing love and romance. However, the area of friendships, seems much more active. (The 7th house rules friendships of the heart, while the 11th house rules friendships of the mind.) Here things are bittersweet. On the one hand you want to limit these activities, while on the other you want to expand them. I feel you will be successful in this area. Your career planet, Saturn, will spend the year in your 11th house, indicating that this area is a big priority in life and that you’re willing to overcome any challenges or disappointments that occur. Also it shows that you are mixing with people who can help you careerwise. Your networking abilities further the career.

With Jupiter also in your 11th house for almost all the year you’re expanding your circle of friends. Some look to be from foreign countries. Group travel opportunities also seem to be happening. (You enjoy travelling in a group rather than on your own.)

Parents and parent figures in your life have a stable social year. Children and children figures have love indicated this year – perhaps even marriage if they are of appropriate age. Siblings and sibling figures have a status quo love and social year.

Self-improvement

Prepare for big and monumental changes. The spiritual life, which has been active for many years, becomes even more active this year. Those of you already on the path (and many of you are) are going to see the results of your previous work in the year ahead. Jupiter is joining Neptune in your spiritual 12th house in 2021. Although it is only a flirtation this year – he will enter your spiritual house on May 14 and retrograde back into your 11th house at the end of July – it is the announcement of things to come. During this period your spiritual abilities and insights will increase. Your ESP powers likewise. You will have important – and monumental – spiritual breakthroughs. And, when these happen, the whole perspective on life changes. There will be spiritual peak experiences this year – and even more next year.

Neptune in the 12th house favours the Bhakti spiritual path of love and devotion – a powerful path. This generally involves mantra chanting, dancing, singing and drumming. It involves practices that elevate the emotions. But when Jupiter enters your 12th house it will favour exploring the mystical paths of your native religion. Every religion – no matter how seemingly dogmatic and regimented – has its mystical side. Usually it is ignored, but this is a year to explore these things.

For those not on the spiritual path (are there any Aries who are not?) this is a year to embark on it. You will be shown (as the saying goes) that ‘there is more to me than what you see’. The spiritual world – and the angels and masters who live there – know how to gain your attention. You will experience all sorts of meaningful coincidences that can’t be explained logically. You will dream of someone and they will call you. Or, you will think of them and they will call you. You will have a hunch to stay out of certain areas and learn afterwards that there was some terrible accident or crime that happened just at that time. These and other types of experiences will put you on the path.

The Hindus refer to Jupiter as the ‘Guru’ – an apt name. His entry into your house of spirituality shows that a guru is coming into your life. Someone who will guide you on to the next steps. My teacher used to say that meeting a real guru is the high point of life and that if it happens, you can consider your life a success.

Two eclipses happen in your 9th house of religion and philosophy this year. One on May 26 and the other on December 4. This shows a shake-up – a testing – of your religious, theological and philosophical beliefs. Spiritual revelation often causes this and it is generally a very good thing. Many of these beliefs need to be corrected, modified and sometimes discarded altogether.

The year ahead is one of spiritual revelation, but 2022 will be even more so.

Though your overall health is good this year, this is not one of your best periods and health needs watching this month. Make sure you get enough rest. Until the 8th give attention to the spine, knees, teeth and bones. Back and knee massage will enhance health. After the 8th give more attention to the ankles and calves – massage them regularly. Also follow the guidance given in the yearly report.

Though health could be better, there are still many nice things happening. You’re in the middle of a yearly career peak until the 20th. The 23rd and 24th also seem good. The new Moon of the 13th is going to clarify many career issues as the month progresses. All the information you need will come to you in very normal and natural ways.

The month ahead also seems prosperous. Until the 9th your financial planet will be in Sagittarius, your 9th house: a positive financial signal. Earnings increase and you feel confident. On the 7th, Mars will move into your money house, indicating great focus here. Focus is the key to success. By the spiritual law we get what we focus on. On the 9th your financial planet Venus moves into Capricorn. While this is less ebullient for finances, less happy-go-lucky, it does show sound financial judgement. Bosses, elders, parents and parent figures – those in authority over you – seem supportive of your financial goals. Pay rises – official or unofficial – could happen. Your good professional reputation brings referrals and extra income.

The planetary momentum is overwhelmingly forward this month. There will never be less than 90 per cent of the planets in forward motion and there will be times – from the 14th to the 30th – when all the planets are moving forward. This shows fast progress towards your goals. Things in the world and in your life happen quickly. (Just the way you like things.)

Love is happier before the 9th than afterwards. Venus, your love planet, is not that happy in Capricorn. You (or your partner) can be too serious, too down-to-earth. There is a need to lighten things up a bit. There is more caution in love. The good news is that you advance your career by social means.

Mars travels with Uranus from the 18th to the 21st, which is a dynamic transit. Avoid rush, anger or risky activities. On the positive side, there are happy meetings with friends.

Health dramatically improved last month after the 20th and is wonderful this whole month. You have all the energy you need to achieve any goal you put your mind to. Pre-existing conditions magically disappear. Though health is good, you can enhance it further with ankle and calf massage. Your health planet Mercury is retrograde until the 21st so avoid making major changes to your health regime until after then.

The month ahead is very social – not necessarily romantic, but social. You are very involved with friendships, groups and group activities. New and significant friends are coming into the picture; this is the trend all year, but especially so this month.

The 11th house is a beneficent house and, since this is where the power is this month, the month ahead is happy. Fondest hopes and wishes are coming to pass. Of course, once this happens, you will create a new set of fondest hopes and wishes. This is the nature of things.

Though your love aspects are good this month, the problem seems to be lack of interest. All the planets are in the eastern hemisphere of Self. You are very independent and comfortable in your skin. You like things your way (and this tendency will get even stronger in the coming months). And so you might not be paying too much attention to romance. Friendships, which allow more freedom, are more appealing to you.

On the 5th and 6th your financial planet, Venus, travels with Saturn. There are good and bad points to this. The good points are that the financial judgement is sound – even conservative. You have a realistic perspective on your finances. Bosses, elders, parents and parent figures seem helpful, but also controlling. The bad points are that you might have extra financial responsibilities thrust on you. You might feel a sense of lack even though you’re basically prospering. But this will pass after the 6th. Venus travels with Jupiter from the 8th to the 11th and this should bring a nice payday. Earnings will increase. (The 8th to the 11th is also a good period for romance, if you can maintain an interest.)

When Mercury moves forward on the 21st all the planets will be moving forward. Thus, events in the world and in your life move forward and pretty quickly.

Health and energy are still excellent this month, and after the 20th they will get even better. If you want to enhance the health further, give attention to the ankles and calves until the 16th, and to the feet (with foot massages) after then. Spiritual healing methods are very powerful from the 16th onwards, but especially so from the 29th to the 31st.

The month ahead is very spiritual. It would be normal to want more solitude, to want to feel your own aura and to get away from the ‘madding crowd’. There is nothing wrong with you. In fact, this solitude is a great gift. Life-changing events rarely happen in the crowd or the marketplace (this is only the side effect). They happen in the stillness and silence of your communion with the Divine. It seems like nothing is happening outwardly, but inwardly tremendous things are happening. Cherish the solitude.

The month ahead is happy and prosperous. On the 20th the Sun crosses your Ascendant and enters your 1st house, and you begin one of your yearly personal pleasure peaks. This is a time for enjoying all the pleasures of the body. The spiritual breakthroughs you made earlier in the month now manifest as personal pleasures. Moreover, the next day, the 21st, Venus moves into your sign. Even if you are not looking for love, it will find you. You won’t escape it. Furthermore, you will have it on your terms. If you are already in a relationship, your beloved seems eager to please. The same is true financially. Financial windfalls will come. Financial opportunities as well. They will find you. The money people in your life seem devoted to you and eager to please.

Clothing and accessories will come to you after the 20th, and it will be an excellent time for buying these things too. Your taste is especially good right now.

Venus, your love and financial planet, will have her solstice from the 23rd to the 25th. During this time she is stationary (in her latitudinal motion) and then changes direction. The planetary power is now in its maximum Eastern position, and so you are even more independent than in previous months. You can and should have things your way. Your way is the best way now. Others should be treated with respect, but if they are not in agreement, go your own way. The cosmos supports you. This is not selfishness: how will you be able to help others if you are not right? So, make the changes that need to be made. Design your life for your happiness. You can do this in future months, but it won’t be as easy as now. Until the 20th you are still in a yearly personal pleasure peak. After the 20th, as the Sun moves into your money house, you enter a yearly financial peak. Your money house is easily the strongest in the Horoscope after this date: 40 per cent of the planets are in there. This is a lot of financial power.

Health and energy are still excellent this month. On the 24th and 25th your health planet travels with Jupiter, so you will hear good news on the health front. A happy job opportunity will come. Children or children figures in your life will have a good financial day.

Venus travels with Uranus on the 22nd and 23rd. This transit can bring unexpected money. Sometimes it brings an unexpected expense, but the money to cover this expense also comes, although you might have to make some financial changes or adjustments. This transit also indicates sudden, unexpected romantic meetings or social invitations.

The Sun travels with Uranus on the 29th and 30th. This is a great social or romantic period for children or children figures.

Mars entered your 3rd house last month and remains there until the 24th. Mars, as the ruler of your Horoscope, is a very important planet. Thus, communication and intellectual activities are a great interest this month. Students should do well in school.

Mercury has his solstice on the 6th and 7th. He pauses in the heavens (in latitude) and then changes direction. There is a pause at work and in your intellectual life – then a change of direction.

It is an eventful month ahead, with many changes. Jupiter will make a move out of Aquarius into Pisces, your 12th house. Retrograde activity is increasing, too. By the end of the month 30 per cent of the planets will be retrograde. This is far from the maximum for the year but is still a substantial increase over previous months. To top it off, we have a lunar eclipse on the 26th. The cosmic chessboard is being re-arranged.

In spite of all this, your month looks healthy and prosperous. The changes are fundamentally benevolent. More retrograde activity is perhaps annoying, but it isn’t serious. Jupiter’s move into Pisces fosters your spiritual life. Even the lunar eclipse is basically benign, though you should reduce your schedule over that period.

This eclipse occurs in your 9th house and affects the ruler of your 9th house, Jupiter. For college-level students (or those applying to colleges) there are changes in schools or educational plans. Sometimes there are shake-ups in the college; sometimes course or curriculum changes. Sometimes students change schools or paths of study. There will also be shake-ups in your place of worship: dramas at the place itself or in the lives of worship leaders. This is not a good time for foreign travel. If you must travel try to schedule your trip around the eclipse period. If you are involved in legal issues, expect a dramatic turn one way or another. Every lunar eclipse brings dramas at home and in the lives of family members (the Moon is your family planet), and this one is no different. The good news is that the ruler of your Horoscope, Mars, will be in your 4th house all month – so you are paying attention here.

You are still in a yearly financial peak until the 21st so earnings remain good. By the 21st your short-term financial goals should have been achieved and you can shift attention to the mind, to mental development, to education. (Isn’t the whole point of money to give a person freedom for self-development?) This is an excellent month for students at school – there is success in their studies. The mind and communication faculties are enhanced; learning goes better.

Singles find love and romantic opportunities as they pursue their financial goals or with people involved in their finances – until the 9th. After the 9th romantic opportunities happen nearer to home in your neighbourhood (perhaps with neighbours), at school events, lectures or seminars.

Retrograde activity increases even further this month. By the end of the month 40 per cent of the planets will be retrograde; events are slowing down. There are more delays to deal with. Babies born at this time will tend to be late bloomers. They will come into their own – their full potential – later on in life. Parents need to understand this.

On the 10th we will have a solar eclipse that occurs in your 3rd house of communication and intellectual interests. This eclipse is the polar opposite of the lunar eclipse of last month. That one affected college-level students; this one affects students below college level. There can be changes of schools and educational plans. There can be dramas and shake-ups in the school. Cars and communication equipment can be temperamental – often repairs or replacements are necessary. Drive more defensively during this period. Every solar eclipse affects your children or children figures in your life, so keep them out of harm’s way and try to ensure they take things easy at this time.

Health, too, needs more attention this month – especially after the 21st. This is nothing serious, just short-term stress caused by the short-term planets, but make sure you get enough rest. This is always most important. Enhance the health in the ways mentioned in the yearly report. Avoid making important changes to your health regime until the 21st. Good mental health is important this month. Keep your thoughts positive and constructive.

The planetary power is now at its maximum lowest position in the Horoscope. It is approaching midnight in your year. The focus should be on the home, family and your emotional wellness. Career is important, but it can be put on the back burner this month. This is a month for creating the psychological infrastructure that will support career success later in the year. It is a month for inner psychological rather than outer career progress.

Venus, your love and financial planet, will be ‘out of bounds’ from the 1st to the 17th. Thus, in love and finance you’re outside your normal spheres. Probably there are no solutions to be found in your usual haunts and you must look elsewhere. Sometimes this transit indicates that the spouse, partner or current love is also operating outside his or her normal sphere.

After the 21st the health rebounds very dramatically, and you have the energy of 10 people. You also enter another of your yearly personal pleasure peaks. A time to enjoy your life. With nearly half the planets still retrograde this month, you might as well enjoy yourself as nothing much is happening in the world.

Personal creativity is vastly increased this month – this is the case all month but especially after the 21st. Those of you involved in the creative arts are greatly inspired now.

The family as a whole – and especially a parent or parent figure – is having an excellent financial month. Last month’s solar eclipse forced him or her to make changes and they are paying off this month.

Though you are still very independent and self-willed, there are more planets – short-term ones – in the Western, social sector of your chart. The social life is more active now, and you’re more aware of others and their interests. I would say that you are also more personally popular these days as well. You’re keeping a balance between your interests and those of others – you’re not ignoring either.

Venus, your love and social planet, is in your 5th house until the 22nd. This shows ‘happy’ money. You earn money in happy ways and you spend it on happy things. You would probably be more speculative too, although caution is advised as Saturn opposes Venus. On the 22nd Venus will enter Virgo, your 6th house of work and health. I consider this good for finance. Perhaps it is not as much fun as earlier in the month, but the financial judgement is better. Unemployed Aries have nice job opportunities towards the end of the month – next month will be even better for this. Even those of you already employed will have opportunities for overtime or second jobs, if wanted.

Mars will be in stressful alignment with Uranus on the 3rd and 4th. Avoid conflicts and temper tantrums. Avoid rush. Be mindful on the physical plane. There can be a disagreement with a friend.

The 12th and 13th, as Venus travels with Mars, bring both financial and love opportunities.

Retrograde activity increases even further this month. After the 20th half the planets will be moving backwards, and next month the percentage will increase even further. So, the lesson these days – especially for Aries – is patience, patience, patience. Slow down and do everything as perfectly as you can. This won’t stop the delays but will minimize them.

You’re still in a yearly personal pleasure peak until the 23rd. So relax. Take your mind off your problems and do enjoyable things. Right now, with so many planets retrograde, there are no quick solutions. Time will solve your problems. When you change your focus of attention and allow more joy in your life, you will often come up with answers. The stress was blocking you.

The Western, social sector of your Horoscope, while not stronger than the Eastern sector, is as strong now as it will ever be this year. You are in a more social period, therefore. While you’re not giving up your independence, you are balancing your needs with those of others.
