Regional Policy of the European Union

This training course explores the basic principles of EU regional policy. It presents an analysis of the organization's foundations, goals, and financial instruments. It is also recommended as additional material for understanding the interaction of subnational, national and supranational levels in communitarian activities. The manual also contains appendices that contain extracts from the founding documents of the EU, as well as the activities of two important funds – the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund.
