Настоящее пособие предназначено для изучающих английский язык на уровне B1 и направлено на развитие навыков устной речи в типичных бытовых и социальных ситуациях. Основное внимание в книге уделяется формированию устойчивых речевых моделей, расширению активного словарного запаса и автоматизации наиболее часто используемых выражений.
Материал организован в виде диалогов, отражающих реальные коммуникативные ситуации, с которыми сталкиваются изучающие язык в повседневной жизни. Каждый раздел включает два варианта диалогов по одной теме, что позволяет увидеть разнообразие языковых средств и способов выражения одной и той же коммуникативной задачи. Переводы на русский язык помогают лучше понять смысл и структуру высказываний, а также способствуют более осознанному усвоению материала.
