King The most important piece in chess. The King can move only one square in any direction: forward, backward, or sideways. Capturing the King ends the game

Queen The most powerful piece. It can move any number of squares along horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines.

Bishop Moves any number of squares diagonally. Rook Moves any number of squares vertically or horizontally. Usually used for defense and attack. Knight Moves in an “L” shape: two squares in one direction (horizontal or vertical) and then one square perpendicular to that. It can jump over other pieces. Pawn The most numerous piece in chess. Moves forward one square (can move two squares on its first move). Captures opponent pieces only diagonally. Your Pieces: Who are you on this board?

It symbolizes your potential for transformation and your ability to influence the course of the game. Your Rooks: These are your fundamental resources and supports. Perhaps this is your family, your education,—your health – your capacity for perseverance and discipline. They move straight, symbolizing a direct and persistent path to the goal.

Your Bishops: These are your intuition, wisdom, deep insight, as well as your beliefs and worldview. They move diagonally, symbolizing unconventional solutions, insights and the ability to see hidden connections between events.

Your Knights: These are your talents, skills, unique abilities, as well as your courage and ability to make unexpected, breakthrough moves. They move in an "L" shape, symbolizing unpredictability and the ability to bypass obstacles where others see a dead end.

Your Pawns: These are your habits, daily actions, small choices, as well as your weaknesses and limitations that you were born with. Each pawn seems insignificant, but they form the basis of your defense and can become a powerful force if they are developed and advanced (remember how a pawn can become a queen!).
