Paradise Demands Death
Work is dope
Told everyone work is a stupefaction,
It’s a heavy burden like an early age.
But in the heart the stanza has been rekindled,
Like the sound of a stringed age.
I wanted to say no to love,
Like a darkness shrouded in light,
But you’re like a delicious, tender fruit,
Suddenly a thread of hope burst into flight.
I’m drawn to the silent hours,
Where the gentle eyes of the light trail,
You’re the only thing that makes the world go on,
You’re my only vow.
Through the greyness of the days, through the cares,
I see you again
I call to you like a raft of light,
Onward to my dream, away from my vanity.
I’ve told everyone that work is not a drug,
But when your face shines
Life’s a dream and my heart’s on fire,
You’re my love’s eternal dictum.
Let it come true for a moment in the heat of the moment,
With you, my love, forever!
A little forget-me-not
You’re in the light like a morning glare,
In your eyes are streams of light,
Black clouds are a caprice,
But there are streams of happiness.
Through the everyday life that beats like a hammer,
I’ll hide in dreams of you
In the feelings that ripen without anger,
Where dreams flow with cheerfulness.
So let the years go by
Through the thorns to a dream of light
Love is the eternal moisture
That blooms in the heart like a forget-me-not.
Watermelon
I long for the sweetness that ripens in my heart,
Like the summer sun, the dream of summer,
In the green fields where the flowers bloom peacefully,
Amidst the quiet sounds where time flows.
Watermelon, you’re a gift from heaven, you’re a bright light,
The juice drips from the rainbow like rain
You’re the joy of summer, you’re a delicious testament,
Your fragrant fragrance guides us.
I see you, round and cheerful,
I see you peering through the leaves,
And suddenly my heart sinks with passion.
Oh, how your flesh is full of warmth,
You fill the world with light,
I’m hungry for watermelon, my favourite fruit!
Sunsets
I used to love to watch sunsets,Like a fire in the skyBut your eyes are like lambsThey shine in the silence. In them is the secret of a world like a fairy tale,Where dreams grow quietly,Sunset in the warm caress of the southNo longer compares to a dream.Every moment we shareA thread of life is woven together,You’re my light, a light of magic steelThat can’t be extinguished.I look into your eyesLike a vast oceanSunsets in my heart are but pale,When you’re near, my deception.Hurry slowly
Hurry slowly through life’s steps,
Every moment is a miracle, don’t rush.
Let the winds carry the scales of excitement,
Rest, savour, in the silence of the bush.
On the horizon, dreams blossom,
Time, like dew, washes over you.
Vanity passes by like a shadow,
The heart is at rest, dreaming softly.
Bright stars illuminate the night,
Time flies, but the moments are waiting.
Leaves whisper secrets in the wind whistling,
Hurry slowly, there’s a treasure trove of life here.
Take your time, enjoy the journey,
Every word in your dreams will fly away.
The world awaits with a smile and an open arms,
Hurry slowly, in endless communication.
Forget the striving, come to yourself,
Hear the grass breathe of a gentle day.
Speed is not the point, seems to be the hit,
Hurry slowly, life is a moment.
A reason to be happy
I’ve found a reason to be happy,
In the evening shadows where the stars shine
Through a noisy world where emptiness is a wonder,
I meet the morning and my heart sings again.
Through the gentle wind that whispers dreams,
My soul is like a bird in the air,
And in every look, in every loneliness
I feel the happiness that is within me.
The blossoming fields pierce the silence,
And life, like a river, carries me far away,
The laughter of loved ones, the joy in every day.
I see the light in simple moments.
Finding love in little things, like in a miracle,
I realised that happiness is my choice.
You’re my rose
You’re my rose, in the morning you bloom,
You’re a rose in the morning, You’re a rose in the morning
Your petals are like the dreams of spring,
They guard the sunlight
I’m not the best gardener, you know, alas,
You’re like a naughty wind in your weaving.
I won’t escape your thorny fate,
Every thorn is my pain, but it’s also my joy under the sky.
It’s raining outside my window, but my heart is warm,
I’m trying to figure out how to make you miserable.
To grow and bloom among the grey rocks,
Where care is a fairy tale and sadness is a dance.
Forgive me for not being able to embrace you,
Every stroke, every tone, to be lost in worry.
But when you laugh, the world matures.
The light and the charge of love it gives us.
So grow, my rose, in a garden made of dreams,
Where all things are possible, there’s only us.
And with every day blossom, keep your brightness,
And let the thorns sometimes be invisible.
Kill me
Kill me or you’ll explode,
In the grey shadows where dreams are clutched.
I’m a good man with a flame in my heart,
But your tastes in the beautiful will be bored.
Your faces are like stones, melted in sorrow,
The taste of hope is forgotten in the silence.
You don’t know what it is to dream a dream of ease,
You’re crushed like shadows that disappear in the morning.
I pierce your world with light like a sword,
Let the words be silent, let the dreams be silent.
If feelings are deaf, if life is soulless,
Kill me and paint the world on a canvas.
Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th, there’s a mystery in it,
There’s fuss and anxiety in the air.
Neighbours whisper, eyes full of fear,
There’s a rustle among the empty and dark mines.
Everywhere you look there’s misfortune and signs,
Doubts like black ants in a taxi.
Somebody’s broken a stick, and fate’s peeping in,
On the back of a six, it’s as if a wall had frightened him.
Pictures will tell us of hope,
But laughter and tears on the cheeks.
Somebody’s met a black cat at this moment,
Everybody’s waiting like a song for a terrible fate or fate’s footstep.
But there’s spring in my heart, even though the evening is harsh,
There’s a shadow on the doorstep, but we walk without words.
Let’s not let superstition take us captive,
Every step is a chance to change, to start.
Friday the 13th, a shadow on the edges,
Let gloomy thoughts drift into the distance.
We make our own destiny and again,
In this world only faith and light can help.
Love is like a downpour
Love for you was like a downpour,
Unexpected, like happy tidings
It comes down from the heavens like a captivity of light
It flows through my veins, my heart embraces me tenderly and without place.
You’re the raindrops that touch my heart,
And every moment with you is like a fragrant garden.
Your words are like thunderstorms in my soul,
They make my chest burst with love.
Every day is a new path, and you are my compass,
Your laughter is like the rain that washes away all sorrow.
You fill my world like a storm in the cosmos,
You’ve brought me back together among my abandoned dreams.
Shine like a lantern in the darkness of my thoughts,
With you every step is like a dance in the rain.
Your love is like rain in a world of madness,
Behind it is a heart where the power burns brightly.
Love for you was like a downpour in the silence,
Softening the blows, gently embracing.
You’re the rain in my dreams, your trace in the void,
With every drop you bring faith to life, knowing.
So let me be with you as you melt in the downpour,
To feel the excitement in every moment.
You’re the only miracle I want to dream of,
That in your heart is my tender innocence.
Comparisons
Comparisons, like a poisonous root,
that breeds anxiety and pain in the soul,
The shadow of other people’s ideas that hide worlds,
Depriving us of light, replacing our roles.
A glance at our neighbours is a flame of envy,
The rays of envy burn away our dreams,
We lose ourselves in a treacherous impulse,
Comparing our lives to other people’s.
The rose and the gardener
You’re my rose, a flower from a dream,
The wind caresses but whispers alas:
I’m not a gardener, I don’t know how to be,
I’m not a gardener, I don’t know how to grow a daffodil in my heart.
The sun plays on the delicate petals,
I gather only drops of hope;
I’m sure I’m clutching my feelings in my fist,
Harmful I may not have known, but how.
If in the whisper of the night of forgiveness,
You’ll allow my heart to stir,
I’ll apologise for my care,
I’ll dissolve in love with you.
You’re like a star that shines brightly in my soul,
Happiness like wine fills me up
I’m a gardener, but only in your light,
My rose, only with you on the planet.
A deserter
In the shadow of worldly cares I dream,
To escape from the bonds that hold me fast,
To a place where my heart can be rekindled
To a freedom where there are no tears and no troubles.
I hear a call like the wind in the field,
It whispers to me of another life,
And in that call is the will of the moon,
A dream of a world without pain and longing.
And if life is but a thread that tears,
I’ll cut them like a sweet fruit,
To be reborn in defiance,
In a world without oppression or anxiety.
To run away, to leave my footprints forgotten,
To become a deserter in a world without worries.
TO F…
The violets are in bloom, the spring whispers,
And my heart flutters like a string.
A rainbow of feelings in your eyes,
A dream that shines like a light in your eyes.
I’ll go on with you in my life
And in my heart you’re the only one, only you.
Will I find you?
I’ve been looking for you in my dreams and in my life,
In the crowd of passers-by, in every new day,
And in the silence when I’m alone,
Hoping to find you in me.
In smiles, in music, in poems,
In the scarlet dawns, in the stars above the earth,
In foreign lands, in unknown worlds,
Where only dreams meet you.
I’ve searched for eyes that are full of warmth,
In touches that are tender and simple,
In the words of love that only you whisper,
In the memories that we cherish.
Perhaps you’re just a ghost, an ideal,
I’ve created in the sleepless silence,
But I’m looking for you to make my heart flutter,
And I believe I’ll find you in the darkness.
A dot
Some see in a dot a whole book,
A poem, a novel, a moment in history,
They’ll see the universe, the sun’s chains,
and the flow of life and the cry of joy.
And others are but a speck on the paper,
No more than that, and should they be angry?
They see only shadows and flags,
They can’t get to the bottom of it.
One sees the ocean in a drop of dew,
The other only has water to drink,
One hears the song of the cicadas,
The other only the annoyance of not being able to sleep.
That’s the way the world is, that’s the way it’s always been,
And every man’s vision is different,
That’s the point and the mystery and eternity itself,
So that every man may find in it only his own.
Smoke rings
Smoke rings in the sky,
The sweetness of a lie is so easy to feel.
The cigarette is a snake’s temptation,
The taste of freedom, deceptive, imaginary.
Each inhalation is like a moment of illumination,
But beyond it is a fog of oblivion.
Life gives you life, stealing a little bit of it,
In the maze of nicotine and smog.
The coal smoulders, burning away hope,
Whispers the ghost of a bygone immensity.
The flavour of the moment, bright and tart,
And payback is a merciless blow.
The bitter ashes of infatuation,
Death dances in the arms of smoking.
The choice is made and the fate is sealed,
Life is burned, burnt to the ground.
Love is like an ocean
My love is like an ocean without an edge
I’m ready to fill the world with my love
But there’s no heaven in my heart
And all I want to do is forget the past.
It could be a storm,
And the waves of feeling could have swept the world into the clouds,
But silence has settled in,
Amidst the poems that have fallen asleep.
Where is the breeze of hope, the whisper of a kiss?
The surface is empty, the sorrowful sadness.
Love’s longing, slow to enchant,
And slips away into the unknown distance.
Maybe the sun will shine again,
And the winds of change will come again
Then love will be as it was before,
And happiness will embrace the heart again.
A visit
You come only in dreams
To a world where there’s no sorrow and no lies.
But I’m waiting to see you again,
To the reality that I’ve been waiting for so long.
There, in my dreams, you’re there,
In a warm and tender embrace.
And every moment is a reward
Away from the everyday, the troubled and the sinful.
But morning comes with the dawn
And the dream fades away like smoke.
Only the memory of it remains,
And a heart that longs for you, my darling.
I believe the hour will come
When I’ll see you again
And the dream will come true for us
And I’ll whisper softly to you: “I love you.”
Lust
Lust is a hot, wicked drug.
Lust is the deceit of lust
The lust of passion is blind,
Peace and reason are ashes.
The desire to possess grows,
And in it lies a deadly score.
The sweetest, the brightest, the closest,
And envy gnaws at the heart.
And then, in the gloomy shadows,
Envy turns into hateful days.
To kill so that only I may have one,
So that there’s no other left.
So lust, with its evil fruit,
That leads slowly to murder.
And the chain of wickedness is strong,
Where death is the last line.
If there were no you
If there were no youI’d be in the grip of longing. In the arms of the gloomy nightWith only the moon in the darkness.Who would I love then?Would I love the wind that wandered by?Or the silent silence,Or the tears that flow?Loneliness, like a shadow,That haunted me all day long.Or that high sky, where the stars twinkle and twinkle. But you are the light of my destiny,And everything is beautiful only in you.My love, my joyThere’s no other life I need. You’re the most beautiful thing in the world
You’re the most beautiful thing in the world,
Like a ray of sunshine in the summer dawn.
Your eyes are two deep lakes,
In them all sorrows and worries are drowned.
Your smile is as gentle as a rose petal,
That takes away the frost of winter from my heart.
And your voice, like music, like a murmur,
That brings joy and light to my soul.
In you alone I find inspiration,
My soul’s salvation.
You’re a bright ray in a dark night,
There’s nothing more beautiful than you, that’s for sure.
I cherish your image in my heart,
And every moment with you, I pray to fate,
That this beautiful dream will never end,
And the light of your love always smiles upon me.
In your eyes
So much warmth and love
In your brown eyes
Like the light of dawn
And a fairy tale in my dreams.
There’s sunshine in them
And the depths of the sea are there,
The soul is like a free bird,
And the soul like a free bird.
The gaze is a quiet harbour,
Where the storms of the sea fade away,
Where there’s no pain, no deceit
Just the cry of a loving heart.
It’s like a ray of hope
In the darkness, it’ll show you the way
And make the world a colourful place
And keep my soul awake.
I’ll love you any way I can
I’ll love you anywhere and everywhere
With tears and make-up washed off
With an open soul that burns like a flame.
With a silent sadness that owns every look.
I’ll love you when you’re weak and when you’re sick,
When my soul is wounded like a bird,
And your voice, barely audible at times,
Like the whisper of the wind in the leaves.
I’ll love you in the midst of confusion and fear,
When doubts gnaw at me like worms,
I’ll love you in the joy that shines in the swing,
When you laugh as if you were the first in the sky.
I’ll love you as the sun loves the earth,
As the sea loves the shore, as breath loves the air,
For in every facet, in every moment
You’re perfection, a gift from heaven.
To fall in love with you
Falling in love with you was the easiest thing in the world,
Like a bird taking flight, like a child in a dream.
In your eyes I saw a clear summer
And my heart was beating at a frantic pace.
I didn’t think, I didn’t wonder, I didn’t wait, I didn’t ask,
Love came like spring thunder.
I fell into your voice like music,
I forgot everything that was around me.
And every gesture, smile and glance
Like magic threads that wrap around me.
Falling in love with you is a garden of Eden,
Where feelings first bloomed so brightly.
Time may pass and faces may change,
But I remember the moment when it all began.
Falling in love with you is like taking a sip from a spring,
And to believe that happiness is forever.
April wind
The April wind, a mischievous prankster,
Tore the last leaf from the trees and made a feast
It made a feast in the puddles, splashing them all over,
And my thoughts in a whirlwind.
He’s whirling round the park, whispering in my ears,
He’ll shatter my dreams like feathers.
April wind, you’re an April Fool,
Why did you knock me off my poppy?
I wanted to write tender lines,
about the beauty of spring and love.
But you burst in, riotous and playful,
And you’ve twisted my rhymes, marvellous.
Now I’m sitting here looking out the window in frustration,
And the wind’s still raging, and I can’t help it.
But in this chaos there’s a spark of inspiration,
The April wind is a marvellous creation.
Do you believe me or don’t you?
You believe me or you don’tThat my love is like the morning dawn,Is bright and tender and so pure,There’s no shadow, no cross.I give you my heartAnd I’ll keep my feelings in itThere’s no deceit in it, there’s no game“but the sincerity of a holy season.Let evil tongues whisperGossip may be like snakes,But trust me, my love,My love is your armour.I’ll get past all the obstaclesAnd we’ll find happiness togetherJust trust in the love I carryAnd together we’ll enter a new world. The sweet gift of oblivion
Give me the sweet gift of oblivion,
So that the pain of my heart may be soothed
And the vapour of old feelings
I’ll be able to forget
Forget your smile and your voice
Forget the tenderness and the dreams
The world you created
Where only we were happy
But let not oblivion be forever
May your holy image be swallowed up
So that, like a shy sprout,
That love may spring up again.
That I may forget the past,
I’ll be able to know you again,
And open my heart and soul again,
To accept you as I did the first time.
Give me a chance to forget and love,
From scratch, without bitterness and evil,
And drown in eternal happiness
Two hearts that fate has brought together.
Bye
While I write about love only on the page,
As if secretly whispering to a dream.
The ink dances, the words speak
The feelings that have been burning in my heart for a long time
But soon we’ll talk in person
And the feelings will spill out in a strange way
You’ll hear a voice that’s full of love,
And my gaze that searches yours for its own.
Let the leaf keep these lines for now
As a gentle harbinger of love’s spring.
And when we meet, we’ll dot the i’s and cross the t’s,
And tell you what’s important without any lies.
And maybe no words will be needed
For the heart to the heart beats so softly.
And we’ll both be in raptures of silence
When we shout our love in silence.
TO F.F.
The fantastic light in your eyes,
The diamond of the soul that shines so brightly.
The dawn of love that conquers fear,
Sincerity of feeling that fills the heart.
Breath as gentle as the wind in May,
The fragrance of hair that enchants my paradise.
Surrogate love
The world is full of temptations, insidious and colourful,
Where the mind is stupefied, forgetting its gifts,
that life gives us, pure and bright,
But they fog the mind like a winter’s gloom.
I don’t need the poison that sparkles in the bottles,
Nor the potion that keeps the mind in captivity and lasts.
There’s no comfort in them, no strength in them, no,
Only emptiness, a sad answer.
I’m looking for something else, softer than silk,
To warm my heart like a sunrise.
Love is the drink I’m drunk on,
It’s my drug, it’s my miraculous talisman.
It heals me, it inspires me
It inspires me to do new things
Why do I need a surrogate, a miserable deception?
When love is my ocean of desire?
All I need is you
In a world of dreams, in the light of day,
All I need is you, my love
In the silence of the night, in the light of the stars,
You’re the world I’ve grown up in.
The bottomless eyes are like seas,
I’ll drown in them and forget myself.
Your smile is like light,
I’ll melt away the sadness of my life.
In your arms I’ll find my mooring,
Where the storms will pass and I’ll rest.
Your voice is the music of my soul
Your voice is the music of the soul.
Let them say the world is a cruel place
Love will save you like a flower
We’ll always stand together,
No cold, no trouble.
My fate is in your hands
And without you, it’s just a struggle.
All I need is you, believe me
My love will open the door.
Out of sight
Away from my eyesBut close to my heartWhere the satin of tendernessKeeps love’s endless love.Where the stars whisperAnd the night tells usTo keep us from dangerThe soul from trouble. In the arms of silenceWhere feelings never grow coldDreams are tender and fullAnd will never fade away.
