A Day To Remember

The final exam week was over, and everyone cheered – except Liam. His old car had broken down twice already that month, and today was no exception. As he pushed it into the school parking lot, he noticed something strange.

"Someone broke in last night!" the principal announced. "We need to call for immediate repairs before graduation."

Liam's girlfriend Mia sighed. "If we break up after graduation, will you still remember me 10 years later?" she asked playfully.

"Come on," Liam laughed, "Let's carry on with our plans first!"

They headed inside to check in for their volunteer shift. Their parents definitely brought them up to be responsible people.

The janitor carried out his inspection. "You kids should check out the damage

– the thieves tried to steal the trophy case!"

As they surveyed the mess, the fire alarm suddenly broke down, emitting a weak squeak. "This situation calls for some creativity," Mia said, grabbing a megaphone to warn others.

By the end of the day, they'd helped fix the school. "Who knew we'd end up being heroes?" Liam said. Mia smiled. "Just don't break down when they thank us at assembly tomorrow!"
