More and More Ant and Bee

More and More ANT

is my third alphabetical story

written for shared reading.

If a parent or older child reads the black

words then young children can join in the

storytelling by calling out the 3-letter, 4-letter

and 5-letter words printed in red. I have

illustrated each 5-letter word as it is introduced.

More and More

ANT

red words! Together with the new 5-letter words

are the 3-letter and 4-letter words from

my first two

ANT

and

BEE

and

means more and more

and

BEE stories.

This ANT

and

BEE book

belongs to

One day a mother and

father asked Ant and Bee

and Kind Dog to play with

their small girl while they went

away to buy her a secret new toy .

The girl wanted

to play in her garden

with her bow and

arrow

Ant and Bee sat on the arrow

and the girl took her hand off the

string of her bow . . . SWISHHHH,

the arrow flew through the air

towards a target on a tall tree . . .

BUT the arrow went so fast

that Ant fell off . . . on to a slice

of buttered

bread

The bread was for the birds.

The bread was soft and so Ant

did not get hurt when Ant fell

on to the bread . But then Ant

did not want any more rides on

the arrow . . . so Kind Dog and

the girl played with a ball and

Ant and Bee went to sit on a

chair
