Śrī Jvālāvatī-tantra
The Śrī Jvālāvatī-tantra is the uttara-tantra of the Śrī Dhūmāvatī-tantra — its continuation and completion. If Dhūmāvatī is the Smoke, Jvālāvatī is the Flame born of that smoke: the same Face of the Mother, turned to the one who has already passed through the first tantra and is ready to go further. Nineteen patalas lead inward: the nature of the fiery Face, the six members and the seer, the root-mantra and the word of giving-over, the passage and immediacy, the bridle and the locks, the chain and the fire series — the dread acts, and the limit that is not overstepped. Uttered by Mā Jvālāvatī, written down by Maharṣi Viṣṇu. Each mantra is given in layers — Devanāgarī, its IAST transliteration, and the English rendering — so that it may be understood and correctly pronounced. Prepared under the editorship of Anatoly Romashkov.
