Through Men, to Myself
I want to write the truth about myself - the very truth I have carried inside me for so long, afraid that it was somehow too much.. Within the pages of this book will settle my experiences, memories, and feelings. I will write about the decisions I am proud of, the way one is proud of a hard-won child. And about the things I have done that I am still ashamed of - those that left scars on my memory and still bring bad dreams.. I am writing this for myself, and for the woman who may now be standing at the edge of her own abyss, searching for someones hand. Perhaps she will recognize herself in my confession. Perhaps she will find the very answer. And if, among these lines, you suddenly encounter your own reflection, I will be happy. If you find an answer, then I will have fulfilled my purpose. And if you do not, let this book simply become someone elses experience for you. A testimony that even the most winding road is not endless. That everything begins with a choice..
