King: Cold feet? (36) I hear some mice get cold feet at the last moment.

(34) Attendant.
church attendant – церковный служитель;
museum attendant – музейный смотритель;
parking attendant – парковщик;
gas station attendant – работник бензозаправочной станции, заправщик;
cloakroom attendant – гардеробщик;
house attendant – консьерж;
(35) The guests are growing impatient.
grow impatient – терять терпение; проявлять всё большие признаки нетерпения;
grow old – стареть;
grow fat – толстеть;
He grew braver with time.
(36) Coldfeet? Get cold feet
She got cold feet and cancelled her wedding just one week before the ceremony. –
Davie and Sandy were supposed to fly to Denver, but Sandy got cold feet about flying so they had to take a bus.

Cardinal Mozzarella
Chief of Gendarmes
The Cardinal found the Chief of Gendarmes watching the wedding guests through a hole in the thin partition wall.
Cardinal: What has happened, Monsieur peace officer?
Chief of Gendarmes: Something terrible, Your Eminence! The Marquis Camembert is dead!
Cardinal: What do you mean, dead?
Chief of Gendarmes: Dead as dead can be! He was found a half hour ago, lying on the floor of his study! The death must have occurred as the marquis was about to leave for the wedding ceremony. (39)
